Menu choices can be logically grouped, with up to twenty choices per menu and eight menu levels. Drive-In provides shared and private menus, dynamic menu display and no memory overhead, making it ideal for stand-alone and network requirements. Advanced features such as scheduled program launch and detailed system information are a key press away. No-Memory Overhead ------------------ When Drive-In runs your programs, no memory overhead is taken from your application. If a program can be run from DOS, it will run from Drive-In. Security-Aware Menus -------------------- Drive-In works with the priviledges assigned by your network operating system or security software. Menus are dynamic and will only show choices that the user is allowed to run. By changing a user’s priviledges in your software, menus will automatically change to reflect the new user rights. Password Protection ------------------- Password protection is available for each menu choice, allowing you to protect sensitive programs. Passwords can also be placed on "Exit to DOS" and "Program Setup"”. You can even prevent DOS shell access from applications run from the menu. Parameter Passing ----------------- When a menu choice is selected, Drive-In can prompt the user for additional information. File and directory windows provide fast access to files. Sorting allows you to instantly view files you have recently worked on. Easy Setup ---------- Integrated setup programs make building menus easy. Just type in a menu title, press F3 to view the directory tree, and highlight the command you wish to run. There are no complicated scripts or compiler commands to learn. Advanced features such as parameter passing can be activated by answering Yes/No questions. Multi-Platform Support ---------------------- Drive-In supports PCs and networks with an identical interface. Networks supported include Netware, Vines, LAN Manager, LAN Server and Pathworks. Please contact Safetynet for information on the Windows version of Drive-In. ====================================================================== Thank you for using the demonstration version of Drive-In.
